A walk around Spitalfields and the Brick Lane area of the East End, exploring life for the huge wave of Jewish  immigrants from Eastern Europe in the late 19th and early 20th Century. We will discover how the poor survived in overcrowded conditions, the role of philanthropy, where they worshipped, and how they spent their leisure time.
