Foundling Museum

The Foundling Museum

Learn how a sea captain called Thomas Coram founded the UK's first children's charity, a hospital for babies whose mothers were unable to care for them. Hear about his 17 year campaign, how he involved artists and musicians in fundraising, and how that continues to this day.

The cost of the tour is the entry fee for the museum (£9.50 for adults, £7.50 for concessions, and free for Art Pass holders)
